À partir de 1984, il a commencé, après avoir découvert les conditions de vent uniques de la Playa Sotavento, à monter son entreprise. Vous pouvez lire dans notre success story, comment, à partir de 8 planches et 30 voiles au départ, la plus grande école de windsurf et de kitesurf du monde avec chaque année plus de 25 000 visiteurs est née :

1984

Arrivée de René à Fuerteventura : Les droits d’exclusivité en windsurf de l’hôtel Gorriones Fuerteventura En poche.

L’entrepôt de matériel et le bureau se trouvent à partir du mois de mai dans le miniclub de l’hôtel Gorriones Fuerteventura.

La première année, env. 150 visiteurs utilisent le service René Egli Windsurf.

1985

Premier prospectus (production personnelle – édition 100 exemplaires)

René atteint la première collaboration avec de grands organisateurs de voyage (Neckermann, Sun&Fun) et rend ainsi les réservations de vacances de windsurf tout compris faciles à effectuer.

Par sa présence active sur des foires, René parvient à consolider davantage le principe des vacances de windsurf tout compris – la demande ne cesse de croître.

1986

René est organisateur et participant de la première coupe du monde PBA Windsurf Speed à Fuerteventura.

Pascal Maka décroche avec 38,86 nœuds un nouveau record du monde.– La renommée de Fuerteventura augmente alors de manière significative

Création de la marque lifestyle Fuerte Action et avec elle un gain supplémentaire pour l’ensemble de l’offre.

1987

Un bureau, un stock boutique et une réception sont placés à l’hôtel Gorriones Fuerteventura sur 640m².

Fondation du centre René Egli.

Premier shuttle gratuit dans la Costa Calma.

Parapente comme offre supplémentaire (jusqu’en 1990)

1988

The windsurfing material is now transported to the beach using trailers and the first installations similar to a centre are constructed at the beach.

1989

René opens Center I.

The windsurfing sails remain rigged up at the beach store - the boards are transferred daily at the beach.

1991

The windsurfing center gains shaded and wind-shielded relax-areas, a beach bar and sanitary facilities, making it significantly more convenient for the growing number of guests.

rene-egli.com has its own webcam installed on the roof of Hotel Gorriones.

René organises the first Kite World Cup in Fuerteventura, one of the first of its kind in the world.

Sebastien Cattelan achieves a new hang time world record of 8.87 sec

2007

René receives the "Bronze" medal for his outstanding achievements benefitting the general public interest of Fuerteventura.

2008

The René Egli Signature collection with wind & kite-surfing motifs expands the offer of the Fuerte Action brand as an independent range.

René opens the Beach-House, which unites Information & Reservation, a shop and a café with a unique atmosphere under one roof.

2012

Together with the beach licences, René purchases by auction the exclusive right to teach in the lagoon.

2013

Char à voile comme offre supplémentaire (renouvelé après 2002)

25 000 windsurfers et kiteboarders ont réservé René Egli.

La page d’accueil rene-egli.com atteint en moyenne en 2013 15 000 visiteurs par jour.

René ouvre le nouveau Kite-Center près de Meliã dans la palmeraie de l’hôtel Meliã Gorriones.

René Egli et Mystic démarrent une collaboration pleine de succès.

2014

René ouvre le nouveau Windsurf-Center près de Meliã.

Le prospectus 2014 est édité en 100 000 exemplaires.

2015

René a organisé pendant 30 années consécutives, le Windsurfing & Kiteboarding World Cup du Fuerteventura et a reçu un trophée spécial en son honneur

René Egli et Meliá Hotels International se déplacent ensemble dans le futur
